Hazardous Materials Consultant - Sydney

 

Prensa is a nationally based professional risk management consultancy firm which services clients throughout Australia, in all types of industries. We currently have experts in the fields of occupational health and safety, environment, hazardous materials and occupational hygiene and have an exciting opportunity to expand the existing Hazardous Materials team in Sydney. We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic candidate to work together within our team who is keen to grow their understanding and knowledge within the consulting industry.

As well as expert technical skills this role will require an ability to deliver high quality service in a commercial consulting environment and your main responsibilities will include, although not limited to:

 

  • Attending tender meetings and site inspections;
  • Cost estimating and proven project management skills;
  • Allocating resources and delivering projects on time;
  • Must have experience in Civil and Construction Work;
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills;
  • Developing and maintaining good client, subcontractor and supplier relationships;
  • Ability to relate to clients with high degree of professionalism and strong commercial acumen to contribute to winning work and managing clients; and
  • Attention to detail.

 

The successful candidate must have strong verbal communication skills, a keen initiative, knowledgeable reporting skills, a high level of computer skills and must be able to work in a team environment.
