Reception/Administration Role - Brisbane

 

We are a company that specialises in providing Risk Management services nationwide.  Currently an opportunity exists for a bright, organised and enthusiastic individual to join our team in Queensland. 

Working on a permanent full-time basis, your position will see you managing our front desk reception area. We are looking for an experienced person that can multi-task and perform duties such as:

  • Answering phones and directing calls
  • Meeting and greeting visitors
  • Organising mail ,couriers, stationery, staff amenities
  • Data entry and database management
  • Assisting our consultants with typing and review of detailed reports
  • Assisting our consultants with clerical and administrative tasks such as –scanning,  pdf compressing and inserting information into reports, formatting of documents, binding and mail merging, lab reports
  • Maintaining some aspects of our Quality System
  • Assisting the Finance and Admin team with projects and general day to day tasks such as booking travel, liaising with landlord and cleaners, answering queries from customers or suppliers, collecting insurances from suppliers, updating telephone lists, preparing induction information, liaising with IT provider, dropping cheques off to bank, liaising with printer supplier, booking training, ordering uniforms, and
  • Daily kitchen requirements such as emptying dishwasher, and wiping tables etc.

 

To be successful in obtaining this role, you will have 

  • Reception experience
  • An intermediate level of computer literacy
  • Microsoft Word Skills (2010) – formatting of long documents, styles, table of contents, indexes, creation of master documents and templates, paragraph formatting, inserting tables. PDF creation, inserting document in PDF, compressing photos, reducing file size. 
  • Intermediate knowledge of Excel, Powerpoint
  • Knowledge of MYOB would be an advantage
