Professional History:  

Jason has over twenty years experience in the environmental consulting industry in Queensland, Victoria and Tasmania.  Jason has managed a range of environmental investigation and remediation projects, being involved in the direction, design, field implementation and evaluation of such projects. He has conducted environmental assessments of soil, groundwater and watercourse contaminants in addition to a variety of industrial effluents and waste materials. Over his career he has been responsible for the direction and delivery of several of the largest and most significant contaminated land remediation projects in Queensland, particularly the Newstead and West End Gasworks. 

Jason prides himself on not only having strong technical competency to deliver projects of this nature, but also a strong commercial acumen and ability to deliver “common sense” advice to clients to assist in delivering their project outcomes.  

Jason’s key skill areas include:

  • Project and program management
  • Contaminated site assessments and remediation
  • Due diligence audits
  • Waste management
  • Legislative compliance, and
  • Provision of corporate advice related to commercial venture assessments

Jason has extensive leadership experience having formerly built and led contaminated land and environmental teams to success before joining Prensa.  He has also directed several large scale EIS projects of state significance associated with mining and associated linear infrastructure and ports in Queensland. 

Jason was formerly the Vice President of the Australian Contaminated Land Consultants Association and is currently a member of the Australian Land and Groundwater Association.
