Prensa provides a range of risk management services including, environment, health and safety, occupational hygiene, hazardous materials and emergency management.
About You
We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic science, engineering or safety graduate to work closely with our clients to provide pragmatic solutions to health, safety and environmental (HSE) issues. The role will focus on assisting clients to manage risks at commercial buildings, industrial sites and major retail facilities to protect the environment, property and human health.
To succeed in this role, candidates will require strong interpersonal and communication skills, confidence in a client-facing environment and excellent report-writing abilities. Experience in customer service roles will be highly regarded, with an ability to both lead and work within a team and a commitment to high standards of service.

About the Role
The role will comprise a significant amount of field work involving building and site inspections. There will be opportunities to consult in a range of disciplines including:
- HSE assessments, management systems and audits;
- Asbestos and hazardous material management;
- Hazardous chemical and waste management;
- Confined spaces, plant, fire safety, height safety and traffic management;
- Assessment of properties damaged by natural disasters such as floods, fires etc.; and
- Monitoring of air contaminants including asbestos, dust, chemical and microbiological contaminants and other environmental conditions such as noise and indoor air quality.
The successful candidate will be provided with comprehensive training in technical HSE risk issues and be expected to quickly learn, understand and apply technical concepts related to legislation, Australian Standards and other reference materials. Graduates keen to develop a combination of consulting, client relationship and technical skills will be well suited to the role.

Eligibility criteria
As a minimum, a degree in science, chemistry, engineering and/or health and safety is required.
A current driver’s license, a private vehicle, the capacity to travel within Australia and excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel are also requirements for this role.
